GLOBALNET™ Product Change

Glendale, Arizona:  January 2000 -- Optisys, Inc, the definitive pioneer of Network Attached Storage (NAS) software and hardware solutions announced today it is following industry trends of network migration by consolidating the GLOBALNET™ server product offerings.  All new sales of GLOBALNET Products ship standard with 10/100BT RJ45 configurations.  Clients with Token Ring or BNC configurations must purchase appropriate hubs for conversion. Existing installed systems will continue to be supported according to individual support contract terms.  This announcement came on the heels of the announcement by IBM Corporation regarding their end of life plans for Token Ring products.
