Hiring: Recent College Graduates and College Students seeking an Internship

Optisys is looking to develop the next generation of antenna design and test engineers to work in the new field of additively manufactured waveguide antennas. This requires working collaboratively in a team of diverse background disciplines and being able to learn and apply critical thinking skills to hard problems.

The two roles below are located at Optisys HQ in SLC, and will report to the RF Engineering Manager.

Recent College Graduates:

RF Design Engineer I/II/III 

Entry Level Engineer

 

Graduated within the last 2 years with a BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering
Strong preference for candidates with coursework, thesis/dissertation, or papers on antennas or waveguide

 

A recent graduate of a BS, MS, or Ph.D. program. This will be an entry-level design engineer role where the candidate will work closely with mentors at Optisys to build proficiency. The engineer will directly contribute to the design and test of complex waveguide antenna assemblies. Compensation will be industry-competitive.

 

Requirement: Current US Citizenship, (Sponsorship is not available)

The role will be onsight at the Optisys HQ in SLC. (This is not a remote role)

College Students seeking an Internship

RF Design Engineer Intern

(Intern) Currently enrolled in a BS, MS, or Ph.D. program in Electrical Engineering
Strong preference for candidates with coursework, thesis/dissertation, or papers on antennas or waveguide 

Interns for part-time work in Spring/Fall 2022 and full-time in Summer 2022. This role will be reviewed on an annual basis and can convert into a full-time position after graduation if the candidate excels in the role. This will be an entry-level role that will include components of the test, data analysis, and design engineering. The interns will work closely with mentors at Optisys.
